My Good Protective Sis (MyGPS) believes in giving back and serving our community.  We invest, support, and seek new ways to make valuable contributions to society. My Good Protective Sis is passionate about:

 

  • Providing products and services to women and children, regardless of economic status, in an effort to restore their self-image and confidence while undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy. 
  • Teaching beauty techniques to patients with cancer and/or domestic violence histories to help them manage the appearance-related side effects of treatment and/or trauma, ultimately aiding in finding a sense of support, confidence, courage and community.
  • Providing products and services to women and children with permanent hair loss due to medical conditions including but not limited to alopecia, Trichotillomania, autoimmune diseases, and/or trauma.
  • Providing products and services to burn victims, brain surgery patients, and/or head trauma patients.
  • Teaching self care and beauty techniques while providing products and services to financially disadvantaged children and women under the age of 30.
